In WolfQuest: Anniversary Edition, purchased downloadable content is partly tied to the player's premium WolfQuest game account. If the purchase was made through Steam, the player is required to run the game through Steam to access the add-on content. If the purchase was made through Itch.io, the player is required to run the Itch.io game and be logged into the same account that was used to purchase the add-on content to use it. Buying through one does not grant full access through the other due to licensing limitations.
While the legacy soundtrack was distributed freely, it is no longer available following the release of the Music Extras pack which replaced its page when the wolfquest.org website was redesigned and modernised. There appear to be no plans to make the complete Music Extras pack available for free.

At its launch during November 2015, WolfQuest 2.7 cost $10 USD or its equivalent in other countries' currencies. Unfortunately, United States Dollars can be expensive in other countries due to conversion rates, leading to some complaints and minor backlash. To compensate, Eduweb runs end-of-month contests regularly, allowing anyone unable to purchase the game to win a full, free copy, among other prizes. There are no plans to make this version of the game available for free beyond the Free Trial.[9]
On November 18th 2015, Eduweb announced the release of the paid full version on Itch.io. Purchasing the game through Itch.io grants customers a free Steam key and the ability to offer a tip to support the project and its future development.
If you want to buy a full copy of the Android version, you can do so here. Desktop versions are not currently available for sale on Itch, for noncompetition reasons. Please note that the Android builds will not work on all devices. Please make sure your Android device is able to run RenPy v8 programs, and has at least 2GB of free space, before considering a purchase.
