Note that one of the few reasons why Mixxx is more powerful thanIcEcast is that it allows you to control which Mixxx streams are presentedon the web player and the ones that are not. IcEcast works only forInternet-based listeners (those listening from a web player) and they canonly hear the streams that are available to their web browser. On theother hand, Mixxx allows you to choose which streams are presented onthe web player and which ones are available for Internet-based listenersby specifying the streams as offline or online in the XML files thatcontain the Mixxx web stream.
