Buy Used Surface Pro 4

I'm looking at purchasing my first Surface, and I'm torn, I can get a Used Pro 4 or a new Surface Go 3. I'm unsure which I should get. Mainly going to be used for Email and Web Browsing. I'm leaning towards the used one partly because cheaper and should be a smidge more powerful, but the new one should be more power efficient.
There certainly has come a moment when your current Microsoft Surface Pro 4 seems to need a replacement. That doesn't mean that you should throw it away, though. People like you are getting paid for their old electronics as long as they sell their used device to the right business. Today, the best site to sell your old Microsoft Surface Pro 4 online is here. Indeed, we pay top dollar cash on the online market for your old and used electronics, and we accept it even if the device is broken.

There's no reason not to buy a refurbed device from Microsoft, because you're getting a professionally-refurbished Surface Pro at a discount price directly from the source. If you want an older, cheaper Surface Pro 3 (opens in new tab) this is probably a better idea than buying a used model from a third-party.
Battery life: A great tablet should last for a full day of work on battery power if you use it in place of a laptop, and for multiple days if you use it only as a second device or a note-taking tool. For Windows devices, we ran our standardized notebook battery life test, which simulates a typical day browsing the internet, including visiting websites, scrolling, and watching videos on YouTube. For iPads, we used them both for daily work tasks and as secondary note-taking devices.
I went into the device manager and saw the Marvell Avastar network card was giving me errors with code 10 (the device could not be started). From the device manager, I pointed the Marvell wireless adapter to use a specific driver. On my Surface I have 4 drivers -- 2 from Marvell, 2 from Microsoft. I used one of the Microsoft ones and it seems like my problems have gone away.
can you please help me further I just bought a used Surface Pro 4 and the first thing I see is this problem with the Marvell adapter. I'm following your instructions but I stop when I need to browse my computer. I don't know if I have this MS driver on my device and where to find it, and if it's not on my device, where I should download it. Can you guide me please :)
I have a fairly tame i5 surface pro with 4GB ram and this problem starting plaguing me. The adapter would crap out constantly and at times disappear all together from the adapters list. None of the solutions I found here fixed it.
Connectivity is a bit more awkward. The USB and Mini-DisplayPort jacks are on the right flank when the Surface Pro is used with the keyboard. That works well enough, but it means anything attached will jut out from the bottom if the device is used as a tablet in portrait orientation. The combo headphone/microphone jack is difficult in either case, as its always located near the top edge of the device, leaving the user to tangle with the cord. There are only so many places to put a port on a slate.
A new leak has surfaced saying that a lot of new Samsung hardware will all be launching on the same day in August. According to the leak, the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Flip 4, a new lavender-colored Galaxy S22, Watch 5, and the long-awaited Watch 5 Pro will all be announced and made available for pre-order on August 10 before launching on August 26.
Teams Rooms Pro is a great fit for medium and enterprise organizations, as well as smaller organizations with larger room counts or more advanced needs. Teams Rooms Pro licenses can be used to license both certified Teams Rooms systems and Teams Panels.
A Teams Rooms Basic license can be used to license a single certified Teams Rooms system in a room. If you want to log into more than one Teams Rooms system in a room using the same resource account, you need to use a Teams Rooms Pro license.
You can assign up to 25 Microsoft Teams Rooms Basic licenses to Teams Rooms systems in your organization. If you need to license more than 25 Teams Rooms systems, those additional licenses need to be Teams Rooms Pro licenses. Teams Rooms Basic licenses can be used to license Teams Rooms systems only and not Teams Panels.
The following tables compare the Teams Rooms Basic and Teams Rooms Pro licenses and show what features are available with each. If a feature isn't available for a license, that feature can't be used on Teams Rooms devices that have been assigned that license. To use a feature on a Teams Rooms device, assign the license in which that feature is available to that device.

Microsoft has really dropped the ball with it's hardware division ever since the Surface 3. When they first announced the surface line, I was really excited to finally see a useful form of the iPad that I'd always dreamed of. With Surface 1 and 2, with WACOM EMR digitizers, there was always hope of future improvement. As time went on, they just keep falling behind over and over.Surface machines often have Worse firmware support and driver updates than OEMs, which is amazing considering Microsoft has it in-house. Look up threads on the screen cracking failures, wifi issues (from the old terrible wifi chips they used), windows update fails, and on and on. Port selection use to be great, with potential for some really interesting GPU connectivity when the Surface Book came out with the keyboard connectors, but Microsoft never did anything with it. Nowadays they continue to refuse USB4/Thunderbolt 3 integration, because 'security' reasons.
I bought my Surface in a rush just after it was released, because I wanted an extremely lightweight Windows based machine that I would have to literally carry on my back all day long, since I was going on a extended cycle-touring trip; I used it as a laptop, and read and annotated many ebooks with it. And after all these years, here it is the little fucker, saving my ass again.
So what do you recommend instead I am just looking for a small, fast 2 in one that I can keep by my bed side to work on when I am too lazy to go upstairs to my office. (I run photoshop, video editing and other web based apps) I just bought the surface pro 7 with the i7 processor. The keyboards are currently out of stock and I am still within the return window.
I agree with everything you have said. I REGRET having purchased the surface pro 7. It is the greatest disappointment. I had a simple Samsung tablet before for 3/4 the price of the surface pro 7 and it performed 100% better. I won't recommend it, not even to my worst enemy. Horrible product!
With a 13.5-inch detachable screen and more than 6 million pixels, the new Surface Book is created for people who want more power and capabilities from their laptop. It can also be used as a lightweight clipboard that feels natural to write on, and it can still run full desktop apps. 59ce067264
