i've tried for so long to get the PC version of this game to work but never found a solution to it, i see runs of it on the leaderboard so are there any patches available or a certain method i have to use to get it running
I did my runs in fullscreen. It hogged my inputs so I couldn't even use livesplit. I set a delay on my timer, opened the game, and ran it without the ability to tab off or split or anything. My setup is like a 1/10 but at least it's working. I also can't set enter or escape to a controller, so I lose a bunch of time reaching for my keyboard at the end of levels or at dialogue.
@Jumpyluff Everytime a FMV is played my monitors goes apeshit, switching to 1080p and then back to the games resolution. Your runs doesnt seem to have this issue. Did you find a fix for it or did it never happen for you
i go to play some NFSU2, see that there is no 720p or 1080p or other 16:9 resolution in the menue, i download and install universal widescreen patcher and make the game run at 1080p, but now sometimes it hangs on the loadingscreens and loads forever with the only way out beeing to force quit the game and loose all progress since i last saved. i have tried finding the official 1.2 patch but cant find the one from EA and only random file sharing sites with the patch, i have tried a few of those and a few different no-CD cracks too, also you need a cracked SPEED.EXE to do the widescreen patch in the first place, but nothing has helped. its always goten stuck after a while. if anyone knows where to find the official 1.2 patch or knows of another way then universal widescreen patcher to make it run at 1080p or 720p that would be awesome because without the widescreen patch it seems to be fine... if you have had this issue please tell me how to fix it
Maybe its the fact that its cracked. Because of that, the patcher will most likely not work. I would just get a usb cd drive and put it far away so the noise doesn't bother you. Here's the closest to official link you'll find for the patch: -for-Speed-Underground-2-v1-2-patch/3000-7513_4-10371406.html
ok well it has to be cracked for universal widescreen patcher to work. maybe if i reinstall it clean, run the 1.2 patch, find a no CD cracked SPEED.EXE for the 1.2 patch and then run the widescreen patch. might work idk. thanks for the help tho
At first i found this topic on reddit, it says that problem may caused with mixing EU and US versions of game (some patches or cracks ). So the speed2.exe try to loading cars that not exists it your version of game.
been absolute ages since i played NFSU2 now, i even got a dedicated computer for it but that stopped booting too lol, il give it a shot but im pretty sure i was using an EU speed2.exe with my EU copy of the game. worth a shot at least i guess
If you are detected, enemies will start shooting mortars at your position. This forces the player to keep changing positions (as a real life sniper would) and helps in delivering a realistic sniping experience.
To make things worse, after beating the game there is a glitch that randomly deletes / locks all of your weapons. So you took 20 hours to do all side missions and get all guns and then suddenly you boot up the game one day and all you have left is the starting weapons. The only fix is to play through the entire game again from the beginning. More proof that nobody of the dev team bothered to play through the game. These are by no means rare issues and tons of people are affected by it.
You can see the full list of patch notes via the official Cyberpunk 2077 website(Opens in a new window), but some of the updates include memory usage improvements in various systems within the game, from foliage and laser effects to street traffic and environmental damage system. CD Projekt RED also promises crash fixes related to loading saves, game opening/closing and Point of No Return, among other things.

The game was released in November 1998, on PlayStation, PC, Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Color.
As well as exploring and destroying Enemies, there were three main tasks in each level that you had to complete to truly reach 100% in the form of Tokens, if you got all three you were rewarded with a Movie Clip that you could view in your Movie Viewer and if got all forty-eight by the end of the game you would receive a very special Clip, these were as follows:
. Although the video game is based off of the movie, the plot follows a somewhat transformation of the original writing, telling an individual story that may or may not be contained in the lore, as the same writers for the movie played a large part in writing the story for the game.
The main source of exploration were the seeds that grew various Plants. Some helped you gain access for hard to reach places, while others gave you special Power Ups or Items that came in useful for that particular level. In order to obtain these different plants, you had to obtain special colored Tokens that were scattered around the levels. The more Tokens you got the more Plants you could grow such as obtaining four Brown Tokens gave you the ability to grow four different Plants. Some Seeds you could change color, lift and place in any area you wanted, while others were stuck in the ground or stuck as the same color. You could grab onto a seed, throw it and crack it open by Bouncing on it. If you wanted to grow something different, you just picked up the Plant and threw it away:
Since launch, our primary focus has been to improve the experience of Cyberpunk 2077 across all platforms, in particular on previous-gen consoles. For the last year and half, the team has worked hard to release patches and hotfixes to improve the game by fixing numerous bugs, optimizing performance and stability, overhauling in-game systems and gameplay mechanics, introducing dozens of quality of life changes, and more. We believe Cyberpunk 2077 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is in a good place, and that now is the right time to shift our focus and start looking forward.
This level is so broken in the DOS port, that it is funny it can still be completed 100% with all pickups. The platform (A) leading to the first secret life under the start point cannot be grabbed at the left ledge, so you better make the jump back long enough and use the helicopter, to land on it directly, or Jim falls to his doom. I am pretty sure I once managed to fall through the point (B) and die, but could not reproduce it. All the spiked areas in the secret zones under the level, marked with (C), can be no-clipped through to instant death as well. If you choose to take the secret passage through the toilet to the area with the extra plasma, I recommend not trying to catch the hook to swing to platform (7), but using the platform above it, then using the hook on the way back. This way if you miss and hit the spikes, you can probably jump up to the platform (7) and survive.
After grabbing the checkpoint under the second moose head, swing on its antlers (5) to get to the hidden area under the level. This way you can get the extra life at (6), although you cannot reach the hidden area to the right where the toilet warp exit is. After the extra life, jump up to the battle with Billy the Bin a.k.a. The Junk Thing. Beware: it is possible to fall back underground after triggering his appearance, and once I somehow managed to no-clip through the left wall at (D) and get stuck, because level scrolling is disabled during the boss battle and I could not travel back around to get to the top and fight him. If this happens, the only way out it to attempt suicide on the spikes or use the suicide cheat code. 153554b96e
